GING STEPS DOWN FROM SCA BOARD

The Specialty Coffee Association has confirmed that Tracy Ging has stepped down from its Board of Directors.

In a statement, the SCA said, “Tracy has made a remarkable contribution to the SCA, first with five critical years on its staff and then another six years as a board member, where she was integral in the unification of SCA. We would like to thank Tracy for her service to the association and leadership on the board.”

Current SCA Board Director Colleen Anunu has been elected to replace Ging as 2nd Vice President. She has two years of experience serving on the SCA Board of Directors and working with the SCA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) Task Force and Finance Committee, in addition to participating in the core group for the Price Crisis Response Initiative.

The Board Director vacancy created by Ging’s resignation will remain open until next round of SCA Board of Director elections. Nominations for the 2019 SCA Board of Directors will open in the coming months.
